自我与表象—卡萨瑞纳•卡梅隆的自拍影像

In general I want my photographs to resonate human conditions, mirroring aspects of memory, longing, desire and ambiguity.
总的来说，我希望我的照片能和人类的心境产生共鸣，反映回忆、渴望、欲望和暧昧。

In my self portraits I travel inwards, dealing with my own memories, longings, fears, desires, hopes, anger, oppression and also more ambiguous matters, issues unknown to me and my conscious mind.
In this work I seek to uncover these feelings. I give them a voice, a face. The expressions can be seen as either masks, or as what lies underneath the masks worn.
通过自拍，我游走于我的内心世界，揭示自己的回忆、渴望、恐惧、欲望、希望、愤怒、压抑，以及那些模棱两可的、未知的事情和我的潜意识。

In this introspective journey, boundaries between dream and reality, memory and truth are diffuse. The past and present are intertwined. Presence and distance is unresolved.
这一段内省之旅，穿梭于梦境与现实, 回忆与真理的模糊的边缘。过去与现在纠缠在一起。眼前与远端难分难解。

Self portraits tell the private story of the individual. Every life is different; however we share the same human aspects even if our perception of them and how we deal with it is different. We share the same story and yet we don’t.
自拍影像讲述了个人私密的故事。每个生命都是独特的；然而，即使我们的观念和处事方式不同，我们仍然拥有相同的人面外表。我们拥有相同的故事，只是我们自己不知道。
